Instructions for uploading your listing (you can upload at the bottom of this page):

1. Please use your business name as your listing title rather than the type of business you have, e.g. ‘Wholehearted Nutrition’ rather than ‘Nutritionist.’ 

2. If you ever decide to change the title of your listing please let me know first as it will change the URL and break website links. 

3. Please note that the preferred image size for listings is 500 x 500 pixels but if you’re unsure how to resize your images I will fix it for you. Please also ensure your images are good quality and that you have full permission to use them (paid photography or stock photos with full permission).

Tips for optimising your listing

I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to have a listing that makes it easy for potential clients to connect with you, as well as a clear call to action (click through to your website). I have developed a short guide to assist you with this (see the image and explanations below).

Use the text and write a statement to draw the reader in. Try the formula “I offer X to provide you with Y (solution).” It can be a modified version but something punchy that states what you offer and the benefit. When talking about what you offer, try to avoid starting with ‘I’, rather connect with your target market through their pain points, show that you understand their problems and how it has prompted you to start your business.

Discuss some of your backstory and your philosophy, values and mission (always write in the first person so people can connect with you).

Discuss the benefits of working with you/buying your products. What is your target market’s greatest need, frustration or problem and how do you solve it?

If you have any qualifications, have won any awards, belong to any associations or have great testimonials (as long as you’re not regulated by AHPRA) mention them here.

The call to action is where you will ask them to click through to your website (add your link). Invite the reader to find out more about you or discover ways to work with you.
